According to the Central Committee for Protection and Health Care of Cadres, Comrade General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam passed away at 1:38 p.m. on July 19, 2024, at Central Military Hospital 108, following a prolonged illness and due to his advanced age.

As a result, the Lotus Water Puppet Show and other prominent shows, such as the Quintessence of Tonkin, will temporarily suspend all performances.

Details of the Suspension:

Date of Suspension: Starting from July 19th, 2024.
Resumption of Performances: After the conclusion of the national mourning period, which is observed on July 25th and 26th, 2024.
